Embrace Yourself the Way You Are..

As a South Indian woman, I grew up incredibly hairy. I was teased as a kid for the same reason !

I wont take names but the people who mocked at me follow me now!! So yeah!

Hey there peeps.. guess what- I never cared and never will about your unsolicited opinions or expressions about my body.

Nonetheless there are so many girls out there who hate their bodies and turn to waxing and threading at a very tender age. There’s nothing wrong in getting rid of your body hair IF THAT DECISION IS YOURS.

But there is absolutely no need of getting under pressure because of your peers and start feeling inferior or insecure.

I think body hair is a totally natural part of the human body. Some people have darker body hair, while others have light hair that are barely visible.

No matter what kind or how much hair you have, it doesn’t make you any less beautiful.

When and why did hairlessness become synonymous with womanhood?

Do what makes you feel right. Do not care about unnecessary opinions or suggestions.

The people who love you will love you irrespective of how you look. 🤍

What if you wake up some day, and you’re 65, or 75, and you didn’t go swimming in warm pools and oceans all those years because your thighs were jiggly or were hairy and you had a nice big comfortable tummy; or you were just so strung out on perfectionism and people-pleasing that you forgot to have a big juicy creative life, of imagination and radical silliness and staring off into space like when you were a kid? It’s going to break your heart.

Don’t let this happen.

Love yourself. That’s the most important thing. Everything else will fall in place automatically.
